my 15 minutes of fame
I think I just poisoned myself by ingesting some mold. I was so happy> watched John Safran vs God ( which is quite entertaining - DAMN! I wish i had SBS at home...), sex in the city! (yipee new season) whilst having Tandoori chicken at Ken's place for dinner. THe cool thing was I scored a free lunch (casserole of some sort) too. Unfortunately, due to my carelessness I left it out overnight; and I didnt' realise it grew some white mold on the carrots while I was eating it and typing an email to Melinda. Thank god my tastebuds work! I only ate 1/2 a spoon and instinctively knew Karen was NOT a bad cook. Oh well - if i feel sick its my own fault. But if I die - ppl should stop taking penicillin.
Oh yeah - rockclimbing was so much more difficult than I thought it would be. I think the place at St peters will be my new favourite place - just because it is more challenging to the muscles. I wish I was a little taller *sigh* perhaps I would be more fit to reach all the stones if that were the case.
How is this related to the title of this journal you may ask? its not...
I had glamour shots taken yesterday afternoon at VAIG studios in camperdown. It looked pretty dodgy outside, but then inside the studio - there were 4 makeup artists creating magic with faces and hair; stylists selecting outfits for customers; and freelance photographers doing what they do best.
Charmyne and I were watching all the people get thier make-up applied, there was a little girl who was soooo cute, and she has her hair curled slightly, such an adorable shorley temple like do! There was another woman who looked like Stockard Channing from Grease.
Our stylist was excited with the amount of accesories we'd brought in and she declared that we should have been her stylist ! What a great compliment - though perhaps it was aimed more at Chammy.
Meanwhile, I asked for Cleopatra eyes > greengold eye shodow with tails at the end of the eyes to give the illusion of longer eyes. We also blew the make-up artists away with the eyelash filaments we had ( thus managing to double the length of my non-existent lashes - Yes Chengy! I do believe would like this product) The make-up artist was super friendly and explained what techniques she was using for particular eye shapes etc.
I'm feeling sick now....maybe I did eat the mold after all....eeewwwww
So anyway Chengy or Beewei - if you guys wanna go in and get dolled up - let me know! I'll refer you to the studio...
hmmm - must figure out how to add you ppl to my blog so you can actually get my messages.....too stupid at the moment though. Must return to work!
